What sets us apart from the other veterinary hospitals in the Matthews area? At Chestnut Arbor Veterinary Hospital, we are committed to making you and your pet's experience with us enjoyable and fun. We take the time to get to know you and your pets. We want to change the way veterinary care is perceived.
We know that taking your pet to the veterinary office is often like taking a child to the pediatrician. We are here to help you make informed decisions regarding your pet's care and do it in a way that reduces any anxiety and stress that your pet may feel. We go out of our way to make you and your pet comfortable - for example, if your pet prefers open spaces and would be more comfortable being examined in the front lobby (like Chandler pictured below) - we will do our visit in the lobby, all while your pet enjoys treats such as peanut butter or cheese. Cats can often be very nervous about coming to the vet's office. Recently, we saw very nervous kitty who refused to come out of her carrier for her visit. After we spent some time discussing her fears with the owner and prescribing appropriate pre-visit medications for the kitty, the owner returned a few days later with a cat who was eager to come out of her carrier and explore the exam room. We were able to perform our entire exam on the floor all while the cat explored, ate treats and purred. The owner remarked that this was the best vet experience she had ever had with her kitty.
We provide high quality care, just like all the other veterinary offices in the Matthews and surrounding areas, however we do it in such a way that your pet will be eager to come to the vet's office. When they are here with us they are treated as our own pets - they receive tender loving care, LOTS of treats and toys and are approached in a respectful and gentle manner. We truly care for our patients and want to make every experience a positive one for them. If this sounds like the type of care you want for your pet, please call us today at 980-262-2180. Come see the difference in veterinary care.
